Walk A Mile In Her Shoes
Launched in February 2008, Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is our awareness-raising and fundraising campaign to shed light on the hardships and challenges young women face when they turn 18 and age out of foster care. Every day we learn something new about the challenges our residents face in areas such as school, work, money and medical care.  This knowledge inspires us to continue working toward creating long-lasting, positive change in their lives. Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is our opportunity to share this inspiration with the greater community so we can all work together to transform the way foster children are served in Miami and beyond.

Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is the theme of all of our community events and fundraising efforts this year and is a great way for us to communicate to a broad audience that we can all play a role in helping former foster women walk on the right path toward a bright and successful future.
