How You Can Help
Casa Valentina was created to address the critical needs of young women
who age out of foster care in our community. There are many different
ways to wrap your arms around Casa Valentina’s girls, and we hope
this menu of giving options provides a way for you to get involved.
- Make a contribution…
As a donor to Casa Valentina at any level, you will be a part of an
extraordinary effort making a difference in the lives of deserving young
women in our community. All donations to Casa Valentina are tax-deductible.
You may choose to make an online donation now, by clicking the button
below. Or you may send us a check payable to Casa Valentina,
2990 SW 35th Avenue, Miami, FL 33133. Please include your contact

- Become a volunteer or mentor…
Casa Valentina was created by a group of dedicated volunteers, so we
understand the value of helping hands in the community. We are always
looking for responsible individuals who want to make a difference in
the lives of young women aging out of foster care. We assess the need
of our girls on a regular basis and hope to have many opportunities
for people to get involved in our effort. Additionally, we need assistance
with everything from office support to interior design to special events,
so let us know if you have expertise to share and time to give.

- Host a fundraising/awareness-raising
gathering…
Help us spread the word about our work by planning a Casa Valentina
Gathering for your friends, family and colleagues. Whether it’s
a brown bag lunch or a wine and cheese party, we’ll help you organize
the event and provide valuable information and guest speakers to raise
awareness of the crisis facing young women aging out of foster care

- Organize a community project…
Does your business, organization or community group want to organize
a volunteer or fundraising community project to benefit Casa Valentina?

Special events like our November 2005 benefit performance of The Vagina
Monologues would not be possible without the generous support of individual
and corporate sponsors. Sponsors of Casa Valentina’s special events
receive excellent visibility through invitations, marketing collateral,
